Lacquered Interior
Saturated fields of magenta and cadmium yellow press against a figure whose face is built from translucent, overlapping planes of digital light. The glossy, almost lacquered surface turns each layer into a question about what is revealed and what is withheld. The tension between the sitter's composed gaze and the chromatic disorder around her leaves the viewer suspended between attraction and unease.
