A face is held between a cool, directional light and a saturated field of ultramarine, where the digital surface reveals its own grain as a deliberate material decision. Tonal transitions along the jaw and brow are rendered with restraint, leaving the gaze unresolved and the viewer suspended between recognition and withdrawal.
