Pigment Holds Its Breath
A figure rises from a field of saturated pigment, its contours softened by layered watercolor washes and sharpened by digital contrast. Light seems to emanate from within the color mass rather than fall across it, setting the luminous surface against a dense, sediment-like materiality. The composition holds the viewer at an uneasy distance, where chromatic force and the figure's stillness meet without resolution.
