Viridian Constriction
Lacquered emerald scales catch a cold, raking light that travels along the coil and dissolves into the dense foliage behind it. The saturated viridian field is set against near-black jungle green, so the color seems to press forward from the picture plane rather than rest upon it. The glossy, digitally rendered surface keeps the viewer at a taut distance from the serpent's motionless, deliberate coil.
