Cadmium Against Absence
Digital pigment is pushed to the edge of its saturation, where cadmium-bright fields meet cold, near-black passages that absorb light rather than return it. No single source illuminates the two figures, so their enamel-like surfaces stay partly resolved and partly opaque. The tension lies in the narrow distance between them, close enough to touch yet divided by an unlit seam of color that offers the viewer no certainty.
