Cobalt Threshold Study
Cold cobalt light enters from a source beyond the frame and falls across a field of pale, translucent planes. The surface is built from layered digital pigment with a lacquered sheen, so the luminous passages appear to hover above the image rather than sit within it. The tension lies in the restraint: a single ochre fracture at the centre pulls against the stillness, leaving the viewer uncertain whether the figure is arriving or withdrawing.
