Throne of Ultramarine
A seated figure holds the composition under a single raking light that separates her face from a field of saturated ultramarine. The digital surface carries a granular texture that reads almost as pigment, giving the throne a material weight the rendering otherwise denies. Her stillness is deliberate, and the tension between her composure and the cold, darkening periphery leaves the viewer unsure who is judging whom.
