Oxblood on Graphite
A kneeling figure rises from a field of cold, polished metal, where a single raking light splits the composition into planes of ochre and graphite. The palette holds a deliberate tension: saturated oxblood set against matte steel gray, with hard mechanical edges meeting the uncertain contour of the body. The work leaves the viewer suspended between submission and resistance, asking who kneels, and before what.
