Raking light falls across a dense field of viridian and ochre, pressing the serpentine forms out of a heavy, almost mineral ground. The paint is laid thick and unyielding, so the coils read as mass and load rather than motion. Their deliberate stillness keeps the viewer at a measured distance, and the tension between restraint and latent threat never resolves.
