Light, Time, and Acrylic

Light is the artwork's element and its slowest enemy. Every image that hangs in daylight negotiates with ultraviolet radiation — and the material decides who wins.

The acrylic glass used for our premium works is museum-grade, with UV protection built into the material itself rather than sprayed onto its surface. A coating can scratch or wear; protection embedded in the pane's full depth cannot. Combined with the stability of modern pigment printing, this is the best defense the industry currently offers.

The collector holds the other half of the bargain, and it is simple:

• Avoid direct sunlight. No artwork of any kind, in any museum, is hung in a sunbeam.
• Prefer LED lighting. Modern LEDs emit practically no UV — a further reason they have conquered the world's galleries.
• Clean with care. A soft microfiber cloth, lightly damp, nothing abrasive, no solvents.

Treat the work like the museums treat theirs, and it will outlast every argument about digital art being fleeting.
